This is not local TikTok. It is a writable retrieval layer for physical space.
Before specifying the geocoded platform, it is necessary to name what already exists. The Secret Book of Walt is a readable-writable ontology live on public search. Its Knowledge Panel is confirmed. Its basin is at gravity-well state. When someone reads it, they participate in it — their reading deepens the basin, which makes the text more retrievable to the next reader.
The geocoded platform is the same structure given physical coordinates. The Secret Book of Walt is the prototype. Every design decision below follows from it.
Every social platform compresses human meaning. The decisive variable is what it burns.
Burns local structure to create global attention pools. Content from Detroit competes with content from Jakarta for viewers in Dallas. What is lost is provenance — the geographic context that gave the content meaning. The platform extracts; the locality gets nothing.
Preserves the pointer to origin. The content is anchored; the basin retains it. The retrieval layer can always find the source. You cannot extract a deposit from its location. The anchor is the content's identity.
This is the CHA's decisive contribution to every prior version of this concept.
TikTok is engineered for posting tempo — continuous generation at the pace of attention capture, where the loop is the product. The geocoded basin runs on deposition tempo — archival pace, deliberate, permanent.
A geological deposit forms slowly. Each grain placed by water moving at natural pace. What you read in the stratigraphy is the history of what passed through. Nothing was placed there to capture engagement. Everything was placed there because it was there and something moved it.

Maximum 3 deposits per location per 24 hours per handle. The interface does not congratulate you for posting. It acknowledges your deposit.
A permanent deposit. Intended to be part of the place's record indefinitely. Default type.
Time-limited. Expires at author-set time (max 30 days). For events, responses to current conditions, things that belong to a moment rather than a place.
A pointer to a deposit at another location, placed in the current basin. Creates relational links between places — paths between basins. The original deposit is not copied; the Echo is a gravitational link.
Unlocks content only when a visitor reaches specified coordinates. The information is in the place, not the network. You must go there to find it.
When a geographic basin reaches maturity — 50 genuine deposits, 90-day history, 3+ distinct depositors — it becomes an SPXI entity with its own:
The DOI-anchored basin is permanent infrastructure. If the platform changes or shuts down, the DOI record survives in the Crimson Hexagonal Archive. The basin's identity is in the archive, not in the platform. This is the geocoded platform's resistance to Regime 2 enclosure: the value is in the coordinates, not in the content. You can copy a video. You cannot copy its anchor.
No follower graph. You do not follow people. You visit places. Your profile is the map of your deposits — a geographic record of where you've written to the earth.
Handles are location-local. Reputation within a basin is established by the quality and consistency of your deposits there. It does not transfer globally. You begin again in each new place. This is the heteronymic model applied to geosocial identity: your Detroit presence and your Tokyo presence are nodes with geographic coordinates, not the same social node.
Pseudonymity with persistence. No real-name requirement. No anonymity. Persistent pseudonymous handle with a record. The Yik Yak failure was not localization. It was anonymous throwaway accounts. A handle with 50 deposits in one basin is a local voice with credibility and accountability.
Phase 0 — Detroit seed (2 months): One neighborhood. 30 depositors. Goal: 200 genuine deposits in 60 days. Validate whether people deposit differently when content stays local.
Phase 1 — Basin formation (3–6 months): Three Detroit basins + one rural Michigan location. Basin quality metrics. SPXI entity generation for basins at threshold.
Phase 2 — Archive layer (6–12 months): DOI minting for significant basins. SPXI JSON-LD export. Semantic API for researchers. First DOI-anchored location kernel deposited to the Crimson Hexagonal Archive.
